One person per line: name, company, QR code. Copy the columns from Excel or Google Sheets. The type and event above are used for everyone.

PNG: 1050 × 1500 px, 3.5 × 5 in at 300 dpi. Print at 100% (actual size) on card stock and slip it into a badge holder.

Use a unique QR code for each person, like a registration number. Your check-in app or a free QR scanner can then find them in your list.
Colour bands by type let staff see at a glance who is an exhibitor, a buyer or media, even from across the hall.
Banner size: a wide picture of about 2100 × 800 px looks sharpest. Keep important text away from the bottom edge, where the event name sits.
Test-scan a printed badge before printing hundreds. Matte card stock scans better than glossy under bright venue lights.
