Campaign Link Kit

Trackable links, short links and QR codes in one place. Tag a link once, then share it as a short link or a QR code on flyers and packaging.

1. Tag your link

Quick presets: pick where you'll share the link.

Tip: use lowercase and dashes, and reuse the same names each time. Google Analytics treats "Facebook" and "facebook" as two different sources.

Your tagged link

Fill in the page and source to build your link.

2. Get a QR code

The QR code uses your short link if you made one (it scans more easily), otherwise the full tagged link.

Your QR code appears here.

Always test-scan your QR code with a phone before printing. Keep dark colors on a light background, or phones may not read it.

What is a UTM link, in plain words?

When someone visits your website, Google Analytics often can't tell where they came from. A UTM link adds a small label to the end of your address, like a return address on an envelope. Then your reports show exactly which Facebook post, email or flyer brought each visitor, so you know what's worth your time and money.

  1. Paste the page you want people to visit.
  2. Pick where you'll share it (the presets fill this in for you), and give your campaign a name.
  3. Copy the link, make it short, or download a QR code for print.
  4. In Google Analytics, open Reports → Acquisition → Traffic acquisition to see your results by source and campaign.
