How it is worked out
- SSS: 15% of your Monthly Salary Credit (your pay rounded to the nearest ₱500, from ₱5,000 to ₱35,000). You pay 5%, your employer 10% plus ₱10 or ₱30 for Employees' Compensation. Credit above ₱20,000 goes to your MySSS Pension Booster.
- PhilHealth: 5% of your basic salary (at least ₱10,000, at most ₱100,000), split equally with your employer.
- Pag-IBIG: 2% each on up to ₱10,000, so at most ₱200 from you and ₱200 from your employer.
- Withholding tax: the BIR table for compensation in effect since January 2023 (TRAIN law), applied after your contributions are taken off. Minimum wage earners and tax-free allowances are not taxed.
- 13th month pay is your basic salary earned in the year divided by 12, tax-free up to ₱90,000 together with other bonuses.
- This is an estimate. Your payslip may differ if your employer deducts contributions on one payday only, or adjusts tax in December. The calculation is open source.
